NEW YORK ACADEMY OF SCIENCES—200 YEARS A permanent exhibition hosted in the lobby of the NYAS’ office at 7 World Trade Center, commemorating the bicentennial anniversary of the foundation's inaugural meeting. The centerpiece of this exhibit is an eighteen-foot-long physical timeline, highlighting key events and prominent figures from 1817 to the present. This exhibition also comprises a curated collection of framed historical artifacts sourced from their extensive archives. Additionally, a meticulously crafted three-dimensional fixture replicates a map of downtown Manhattan, serving as a visual testament to seven generations of NYAS buildings.
